シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager

A renowned international fashion brand is searching for an AR Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager. The chosen applicant will handle financial operations with a focus on accounts receivable, audits, and process improvements. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular financial operations, including revenue recognition, collection, reconciliation of AR, invoicing, and customer refund communication
• Report monthly sales, AR aging, cash forecast, and provide analysis for management
• Execute annual closing tasks for AR, financial closing, and tax filing-related reporting
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Manage and maintain payment methods, including credit card terminals, merchant accounts, and commission updates
• Interact with stores regarding revenue recognition, AR booking, collection, reconciliation, and customer refunds
• Investigate and resolve inquiries and issues related to AR
• Support financial projects, including new PSP implementation, store operation improvements, and regulatory changes

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in accounts receivable (retail industry is preferred)
• Experience with high-volume transactions or credit management
• Possess a valid bookkeeping certificate grade 2+ or equivalent qualification
• Solid understanding of account principles and Japanese tax regulations related to accounts receivable
• Advanced level MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and Word
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Native level Japanese; business level English
