ファイナンシャルコントローラー/ Financial Controller

A global healthcare company is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will lead financial planning, risk management, compliance, distributor oversight, business performance analysis, and strategic decision-making support to drive sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial counsel and analysis for proposed strategic growth initiatives and monitor local operations performance against financial plans
• Drive development and preparation of financial business plans and supporting analysis
• Advise senior management on profit maximisation, resource prioritisation, distributor management, and operational activities
• Manage full CFS functions including OTC, P2P, RTR month end, year end, FP&A, statutory reporting, tax, treasury, company secretary, and cash flow management
• Ensure integrity and reasonableness of financial data and compliance with corporate and division financial policies and procedures
• Implement and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with customs, antiboycott, embargo, and trade control laws and regulations
• Provide timely recommendations regarding financial risks associated with trade activities and inventory issues
• Cooperate with regional distributors to minimise write-offs and returns
• Review and approve distributor claims in coordination with finance and demand planning teams

Requirements:

• 15-20 years of experience in finance, preferably within the healthcare or life science industry
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record of developing talent
• Strategic partnership mindset
• Prior non-healthcare industry experience is a plus
• Professional level Japanese and English
