財務コントローラー/ Financial Controller

A global technology firm is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, and cash operations while managing key stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations
• Perform fluctuation analysis and approve journal entries
• Oversee revenue recognition and end-of-period approvals
• Manage statutory accounting, R&D charge-outs, and GAAP adjustments
• Coordinate corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax processes
• Handle cash, banking, AP/AR, and invoice distribution activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or a relevant domain
• Experience in financial controlling, statutory accounting, and taxation
• Prior experience working with external auditors and tax advisors
• Understanding of Japanese GAAP and local tax regulations
• Proficient in English (Japanese is ideal)
