財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global energy company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will support acquisition projects, due diligence processes, asset sales, and transaction execution while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Collect project information from developers, brokers, and partners for acquisition opportunities
• Prepare screening materials and conduct basic commercial assessments for potential projects
• Coordinate due diligence activities with internal teams, advisors, and partners
• Manage virtual data rooms, documentation, and investor communications during asset sales
• Prepare transaction documents and support investor presentations and meetings
• Track deliverables, maintain communication logs, and follow up with stakeholders throughout deal processes

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field
• 4–7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in renewable energy sector (PV or BESS)
• Knowledge of DD processes and project development
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working with investors, developers, EPCs, aggregators, financial institutions, or advisors
• Prior experience operating VDRs
• Understanding of M&A, project finance, and commercial negotiations
• Knowledge of tax and accounting concepts related to M&A
• Skilled in drafting professional documents in both Japanese and English
