アシスタントコントローラー/ Assistant Controller

A multinational manufacturing company is looking for an Assistant Controller. The selected candidate will manage general accounting activities, support financial reporting, and contribute to budgeting, analysis, and internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day general accounting activities including billing, costing, SG&A, fixed assets, and tax transactions
• Review balance sheet accounts and perform analytical procedures
• Monitor inventory transactions and standard costs and reconcile subledger with general ledger
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc management reporting
• Assist with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and fiscal requirements
• Provide financial planning and analysis and support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain accounting controls and support policy development, including SOX implementation
• Deliver accurate financial information to support decision-making

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in global companies using ERP systems
• Experience in general accounting and statutory accounting practices
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial systems
• Fluent level English; professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of US GAAP reporting standards
• Experience with IBM TM1 BI tool
• Experience with NetSuite (Oracle) ERP system
