主任会計士/ Chief Accountant

A global animal nutrition company is looking for a Chief Accountant. The selected candidate will lead accounting, controlling, tax, and reporting functions while acting as a trusted finance partner to Japan’s Managing Director.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate General Ledger, asset accounting, and intercompany reconciliations
• Manage accounts receivable including credit risk and standardised dunning
• Oversee accounts payable and implement IT-enabled best-practice processes
• Partner with the Managing Director on budgeting and cost center management
• Establish product costing and strengthen sales controlling
• Lead tax compliance, financial reporting, auditor coordination, and payroll liaison

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of work experience in accounting and/or controlling in Japan
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Owns a car/vehicle for commuting
• Proficient in English and Japanese
