日本コントローラー/ Japan Controller

A global industrial materials and components company is looking for a Japan Controller. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end financial control while partnering closely with local and US stakeholders. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial reporting and SOX compliance across Japan operations
• Coordinate regular accounting activities with US Fastener and Corporate teams
• Prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses in line with the PCC calendar
• Drive process improvements and strengthen controls in line with US GAAP and tax rules
• Manage working capital, cash flow planning, and financial follow-ups
• Lead key finance projects while identifying and mitigating financial risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, ACCA
• 5-10 years of progressive experience financial management with regional exposure to business operating in Japan
• Understanding of US accounting standards, local tax regulations, and proficiency in financial systems (e.g. Oracle, Syteline)
• Native level Japanese and English
