財務コントローラー/ Financial Controller

A global food manufacturing company is seeking a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end financial operations, controls, and business partnering across the Japan organisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Japan financial operations in line with global finance models and policies
• Oversee SAP-based financial and management accounting structures and reporting
• Manage period close, year-end close, and finance system improvement initiatives
• Implement and maintain global internal control and audit remediation programs
• Direct credit control, balance sheet governance, and cash flow management
• Control overheads, payroll accounting, and cross-functional finance engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in finance
• Skilled in financial accounting and analysis
• Skilled in management reporting
• Professional level Japanese; business level English

Nice to have:

• Experience in controllership
• Possess valid Nissho Boki 2nd+ qualification
