プロジェクトコントローラー/ Project Controller

An international automotive company is looking for a Project Controller. The selected candidate will oversee project financials, manage budgets and forecasts, and provide data-driven insights to ensure financial performance and cost control across projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets and forecasts to achieve financial objectives
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
• Implement and maintain project control processes and reporting tools
• Prepare and present financial reports to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with program managers to develop business cases
• Approve cost changes and manage cost drivers and benchmarking tools
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• More than multiple years of experience in project finance and controlling
• Experience in project financial management, preferably within the automotive industry
• Proficient in advanced MS Excel, including complex formulas and data-based metrics
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting
• Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems
• Knowledge in developing business cases, costed BOMs (Bill of Materials)
