日本コントローラー/ Japan Controller

A renowned industrial materials and components supplier is looking for a Japan Controller. The selected candidate will oversee accounting, finance, and business support functions while ensuring compliance and process efficiency. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations including financial reporting, SOX control, and coordination with US divisions
• Drive finance process improvements and internal control initiatives under US GAAP and tax regulations
• Oversee working capital management, cash flow forecasts, and financial planning
• Provide financial support for tax filings, audits, and business risk mitigation
• Lead and manage business and financial projects locally and globally
• Guide and develop the finance team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, ACCA
• 5-10 years of progressive experience financial management with regional exposure to business operating in Japan
• Understanding of US accounting standards, local tax regulations, and proficiency in financial systems (e.g. Oracle, Syteline)
• Fluent level Japanese and English
