経理部門担当副社長/ Vice President of Accounting

A renowned manufacturing company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting. The selected candidate will lead global accounting, audit, tax, and FP&A initiatives across the organisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a global accounting strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead complex accounting policy discussions to ensure global consistency
• Oversee external audit and J-SOX compliance
• Drive FP&A processes including budgeting and performance monitoring
• Strengthen intercompany transfer pricing and global tax coordination
• Supervise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate reporting

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience leading or working at an accounting function of a listed Japanese company
• Knowledge of managerial accounting
• Familiarity with Japanese law and TSE listing rule compliance required for listed companies
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in capital markets and investor communication
• Prior experience in leading fundraising at an issuer company or advisor
• Proven experience in FP&A functions or leading group-wide budget planning processes
• Background working for a global organisation
