財務ディレクター/ Finance Director

A leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a Finance Director. The selected candidate will lead reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning to support executive decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee group financial reporting and provide financial insights to leadership teams
• Direct and coordinate budget planning, forecasting, and capital expenditure activities
• Drive business and financial analysis to support strategic decisions and performance optimisation
• Serve as the liaison between regional management, corporate functions, and local operations
• Supervise tax, treasury, accounting, and internal control processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Manage working capital, asset safeguarding, and inventory control across all sites

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above (Master in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. CPA designation is ideal)
• More than 10 years of experience in the finance and accounting field with an internationally operating company
• Experience in people management
• Prior experience with databases (Infor, Anaplan)
• Understanding of IFRS and Japan-GAAP which influences accounting and reporting for the division
• Familiarity with relevant tax issues
• Knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, plant controlling, investment calculations, contract administrations, etc.
• Proficient in English
