コントローラー/ Controller

A renowned international consumer electronics company is seeking a Controller. The successful candidate will oversee accounting, HR, and general affairs functions to ensure effective business operations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial closing, budgeting, and reporting in line with Japanese GAAP and IFRS
• Oversee cash flow, funding plans, and coordination with auditors and tax advisors
• Prepare financial reports and management review materials for headquarters
• Supervise payroll, insurance procedures, and HR administration with external vendors
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations management
• Oversee office operations, contracts, and compliance with legal and data protection standards

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
• Experience in HR and general affairs (small to mid-sized companies is ideal)
• Prior experience in a foreign-affiliated company is preferred
• Proven experience collaborating with tax advisors and social insurance consultants is a plus
• Possess valid USCPA or Japan Bookkeeping level 2+ certifications
• Business level reading, written, and spoken English is desired; professional level Japanese
