財務コントローラー/ Financial Controller

An international luxury fashion brand is looking for a Financial Controller. The selected applicant will be responsible for leading all aspects of financial planning, analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop effective strategies and programs to meet functional, operational and financial targets with cross-functional Japan leadership team.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Forecast risks and opportunities, work with functional teams to ensure control over critical areas of PL, and capital expenditures.
• Understand business implications which assist management in decision making.
• Maintain database of key financial metrics.
• Collaborate with external auditors/internal auditors as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years of financial management experience in a multinational company
• Background in general accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office and Hyperion Smart View is desirable
• Knowledge of the luxury or fashion market with exposure in retail function is preferred
• Must be eligible to work in Japan
• Native level Japanese; business level English
