A Project Controlling role is now available at a multinational energy company. The chosen applicant will be in charge of preparing the project financial plan and ensuring alignment with the project execution plan.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the project is appropriately structured, entered, and maintained in the financial system
- Prepare project financial status reports, including project financial data, costs, and estimates of final project cost
- Coordinate regular project reviews and monitor ongoing project cost control status, cash flow, revenues, profit, gross margin
- Update all appropriate controlling tools to ensure accurate reporting for project balance sheet and income statement
- Involve in various financial aspects of proposals and decisions
- Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, guidelines
- Support the tendering team to ensure costing elements and financial risks are properly considered
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 1-2 years of experience in business or financial controlling
- Experience in ERP system (SAP is preferred)
- Knowledge of finance and accounting in IFRS and JP GAAP
- Knowledge of MS Excel is a plus
- Ability to work in a dynamic and international environment
- Solid numerical analysis skills
- Possess a valid CPA qualification is advantageous
- Fluent level Japanese and English
