リーガルエンティティコントローラー/ Legal Entity Controller

A leading medical device company is seeking a Legal Entity Controller. The selected candidate will oversee monthly financial closings, manage accounting operations, and lead strategic projects. This is hybrid setup and long-term direct contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Control monthly financial closing of the Company (unconsolidated) in IFRS
• Manage BPO vendor for transactional accounting processes
• Lead daily accounting operations and projects, including process improvements and interdepartmental interactions
• Play a key role in strategic accounting projects like system implementation and initiatives for faster closing
• Prepare annual financial statements per J-GAAP, including GAAP adjustments from IFRS
• Maintain group accounting policies, internal controls, and relevant systems

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of accounting experience (professional firms or corporate teams)
• Practical experience with SAP or other ERPs
• Prior team management experience
• Experience at Big 4 accounting firms
• Multinational environment experience
• Experience in consolidation accounting
• Accounting system implementation experience
• Background in manufacturing industry
• Understanding of global accounting practices
• Good understanding of IFRS and J-GAAP
• Possess valid accounting certifications (CPA, bookkeeping certifications, etc.) is a plus
• Business level English
