ファイナンシャルコントローラー/ Financial Controller

One of the world’s most recognisable consumer brands is seeking a Financial Controller. The selected candidate will oversee all aspects of procure to pay, order to cash and record to report for the region.

Responsibilities:

• Manage various accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost accounting, inventory accounting and revenue recognition
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual books close
• Work on journal entries regarding accounting closing and GL maintenance
• Share valuable financial information of the region’s business and build strategies to achieve region targeted goals
• Take part in reviewing financial performance and provide insightful input related to the health of the financial statements
• Oversee key controllership projects to optimise financial processes / dashboards
• Ensure effectively communication of regional risk assessment process related to financial statement assertions, processes and controls
• Liaise with auditing firms to ensure proper compliance with all internal and external regulations
• Drive internal and financial control, including standardisation of policies, procedures, analysis, reporting, etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 6+ years of experience in commercial and financial control management
• Qualified accountant
• Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, Tax principles and SOX compliance
• Background in Japan statutory accounting or tax regulations
• Ability to use ERP and BI tools
• Prior experience working with global head office
• Outstanding stakeholder management and leadership skills
• MS Office literacy
• Fluent level written and oral English and Japanese
