アシスタントコントローラー/ Assistant Controller

A multinational manufacturer of water products is searching for an Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of GL accounting, sub-ledgers, and reconciled accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate financial reporting and transaction processing
• Prepare monthly reports in line with US GAAP and company standards
• Evaluate and keep track of the company’s operations
• Oversee accounting processes and systems when needed
• Align accounting transactions with US GAAP and internal accounting guidelines
• Maintain accuracy of financial performance reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting or a similar domain is ideal
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Extensive experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Strong IT skills with expertise in MS Excel, financial systems, and ERP systems
• Understanding of US and local GAAP reporting and compliance is preferred
• Valid CPA, CA, or CMA qualification is advantageous
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
