A large company working in the food industry is searching for a North East Asia Senior Finance Controller. The candidate who enters this role will have a variety of financial responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, etc.
- Drive and assist in closing and reporting activities
- Cooperate effectively with the commercial finance team and the supply chain finance team
- Conduct analysis of key financial drivers
- Contribute to financial performance reviews of each business unity and country
- Oversee controller-ship projects and optimisation of financial processes, dashboards, etc.
Requirements:
- Accountant qualification
- 10+ years of commercial and financial control management experience
- Understanding of US-GAAP, IFRS, tax, and SOX compliance
- Experience with ERP and BI tools
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent level Japanese (written and spoken); business level English (written and spoken)
