A global adhesives manufacturer is searching for a Financial Controller to organize, supervise, and manage the company’s accounting. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the company’s financial operations, managing a number of permanent and temporary staff.
Responsibilities:
- Produce timely P&L reports and various financial status reports for management
- Handle all financial reporting to the parent company
- Manage the annual budgeting process
- Manage all tax-related issues and serve as the primary contact for tax advisors, authorities, and auditors
- Control treasury issues including cash management
- Supervise the information systems team
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in accounting and finance management based on US GAAP
- 5+ years’ experience managing the general ledger and closing operations
- 5+ years’ experience in business planning and analysis
- Strong knowledge of the Japanese tax system
- Experience with ERP software is a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Advanced verbal and written English proficiency
