会計スペシャリスト/ Accounting Specialist

A renowned sports apparel manufacturer is looking for an Accounting Specialist. The selected candidate will manage accounting operations including invoice processing, reconciliations, SAP entries, payments, general ledger activities, and audit support.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and payments for domestic and overseas business partners
• Reconcile POs, GRs, and invoices through three-way matching
• Record and verify journal entries using SAP R/3
• Prepare payment data and manage bank payment procedures
• Manage employee expense settlements using SAP Concur
• Manage GL accounts, month-end reconciliations, prepaid expenses, leases, and fixed assets
• Support budget and actual expense management by coordinating with relevant departments
• Manage royalty fees and support licensor reporting
• Handle internal and tax audits
• Support accounting system migrations and develop ad-hoc budget and actual management models

Requirements:

• Experience in high-volume journal entry work for monthly closing using a core ERP system
• Prior accounting experience at accounting outsourcing firms or global companies
• Proven US GAAP-compliant experience
• Proficient in MS Excel (Microsoft Copilot is ideal)
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in accounting operations at a company with SAP as its core ERP system
• Prior experience using SAP Concar
• Proven experience in manufacturing and retail, apparel, sports, and consumer goods industries
• Possess valid USCPA, bookkeeping Level 2 or higher certifications
