会計スペシャリスト/ Accounting Specialist

An international data centre services company is looking for an Accounting Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee finance operations across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, ensure compliance, drive process improvements, and collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to support business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the Japan business and the Service Centre in India for AP and AR matters
• Lead regular service reviews by monitoring KPIs, SLAs, service quality, and operational performance
• Manage and resolve escalations related to payments, billing, collections, and customer or supplier issues
• Ensure compliance with Japanese tax, regulatory, and business requirements, including Consumption Tax and withholding tax where applicable
• Support internal and external audits, tax reviews, and local compliance activities
• Provide insights on AP, AR, working capital, credit risk, collections performance, and operational metrics
• Drive process standardisation, continuous improvement, and stronger finance controls
• Partner with the Service Centre in India and local stakeholders to optimise finance processes and responsibilities
• Support system enhancements, testing, finance transformation initiatives, and ERP developments
• Work across AP, AR, or both areas based on business priorities and organisational needs

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of experience in accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, finance operations, or a related field
• Experience working within multinational and/or shared service environments
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and finance operational processes
• Knowledge of Japanese business practices, tax requirements, and compliance considerations
• Native level Japanese; business level English
