財務報告スペシャリスト/ Financial Reporting Specialist

A globally recognised research institution is looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist. The selected candidate will drive financial reporting, strengthen accounting processes, support audits and tax compliance, and improve operational quality across the finance function.

Responsibilities:

• Review accounting and financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and automation
• Develop service and quality metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Create and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and financial manuals
• Coordinate with external tax accountants on reporting and filings
• Support external audits and government examinations and inspections
• Perform and oversee financial reporting, general accounting, and other assigned finance tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, finance, accounting, or related field
• Experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Possess valid Level 2 Bookkeeping Certification
• Native level Japanese; business level English
