財務・経理マネージャー/ Finance & Accounting Manager

A multinational energy company is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial accounting, tax compliance, statutory reporting, and financial governance while supporting regional finance operations. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum of financial accounting, tax, and statutory reporting
• Review and approve accounting entries in Microsoft Dynamics ERP
• Review monthly financial reports submitted to regional finance team
• Ensure timely and accurate financial closing and reporting activities
• Review and submit tax filings in compliance with local regulations
• Coordinate with regional and local teams on accounting and tax matters
• Complete year-end audits and report to regional finance management
• Manage inter-company and intra-group transactions and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with Japan statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
• Maintain finance governance in line with local laws and reporting standards
• Support regional finance projects and initiatives
• Manage full set accounts for assigned entities within Asia

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance
• 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting in multinational companies
• More than 3 years of experience in operational accounting
• Experience with accounting systems and knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central
• Knowledge of IFRS and Japan accounting and tax regulations
• Understanding of Japan local laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards
• Professional level Japanese; good level verbal and written English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid professional qualification such as CPA
