財務部長/ Director of Finance

A multinational industrial technology manufacturer is looking for a Director of Finance. The selected candidate will lead strategic finance partnering, planning, governance, transformation, and team development to support business performance and long-term value creation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and functional leaders on strategy, investments, and financial decision-making
• Translate business goals into financial plans, targets, and performance metrics
• Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting while improving accuracy and alignment
• Review financial performance, monitor key indicators, and drive action on risks and opportunities
• Strengthen controls, compliance, audit readiness, and financial governance across operations
• Lead finance transformation, digital improvement, and team development to raise efficiency and capability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 15-20 years of professional experience
• Experience in progressive finance leadership roles within a multinational or matrix organisation
• Prior experience in operations finance and/or manufacturing finance
• Knowledge of manufacturing concepts and operating environments in manufacturing sectors
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Background in finance, such as FP&A, Operations Finance, Commercial Finance, Controlling with accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CIA)
