シニア会計士/ Senior Accountant

A renowned biotechnology company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will lead core financial closing and reporting activities, maintain ledger accuracy, support audits and compliance, and improve accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Monitor and analyse general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Manage accounting for accruals, provisions, fixed assets, and other balance sheet items
• Prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
• Support audits, compliance activities, and accounting process improvements

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in general ledger
• Prior experience independently handling monthly close activities
• Professional level Japanese; business level written and spoken English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Prior IPO-related experience (including involvement in IPO preparation, financial reporting readiness, audit support, or internal control enhancement)
• Proven experience in a multinational or global organisation
• Possess valid US CPA or equivalent qualification
