経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A global entertainment company is looking for an Accounting Manager – Sales Accounting (Assistant Manager). The selected candidate will oversee revenue-related accounting, strengthen controls, improve processes, support cross-functional stakeholders, and lead a team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual sales accounting close activities, including journal entries, balance management, reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Drive accounting decisions for sales transactions, new products, contract terms, and policy implementation in line with US GAAP and group standards
• Strengthen internal controls across the sales cycle, manage audit responses, identify accounting risks, and implement corrective actions
• Partner with sales, marketing, operations, FP&A, and non-finance teams to provide accounting guidance and business support
• Improve revenue recognition processes by standardising workflows, reducing manual entries and reconciliations, and promoting automation
• Manage the team, oversee reporting quality and closing schedules, support system and data improvements, and maintain cash management controls

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting-related work at a listed company or a company of similar size
• More than 3 years of experience managing and training subordinates
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Skilled in managing and developing team members
• Possess valid Nissho Bookkeeping level 2+ qualification
• Native level Japanese; business level English
