財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

An international industrial gases and surface technologies company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will lead the finance team, oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance, and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance team and support manufacturing plants in financial operations
• Train and develop finance staff to enhance team capabilities
• Manage financial close, forecasting, and annual budgeting processes
• Handle statutory and tax compliance and reporting to the corporate
• Provide a clear analysis of monthly results and gap analysis to the Financial Controller
• Deliver value-added financial analyses to support business decision-making
• Manage local statutory, tax, and corporate secretarial matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accountancy
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Japanese GAAP, US GAAP, and local tax regulations
• Proficient in Oracle, Hyperion, and advanced Excel
• Professional level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in audit or a US MNC environment
• Experience with Oracle and Hyperion financial systems
• Prior exposure to manufacturing finance operations
