財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A multinational energy organisation in the finance sector is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will lead corporate finance and management activities, oversee reporting, planning, and compliance, and support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all finance-related matters within Japan and operating plants
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and planning & control analyses
• Review funding needs and forecast cash flow and liquidity requirements with the Corporate Treasury team
• Support preparation of annual reports and statutory accounts in coordination with accounting service providers and internal teams
• Liaise with Corporate Treasury to execute payments and financial transactions
• Support accounting service providers and corporate teams in preparing accounting information
• Monitor and manage tax procedures ensuring compliance with local tax obligations
• Act as a contact point for financial and tax due diligence processes and support transaction documentation such as SPA and SHA
• Present financial results to the Country Manager and Corporate team to support decision-making

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 5-7 years’ experience in an accounting firm or similar position
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to identify financial risks and implement mitigating actions
• Professional level Japanese and English (level C1)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in a multinational environment
• Knowledge of ERP finance modules such as SAP or PeopleSoft
