購買コントローラー/ Purchasing Controller

A global automotive manufacturing company is looking for a Purchasing Controller. The selected candidate will drive purchase price variance improvement and cost reduction initiatives while providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Drive purchase price variance improvement and support cost reduction plans
• Track progress of PPV and CRP initiatives against budgets and forecasts
• Manage material index changes, price adjustments, and supplier payment term optimisation
• Provide forward-looking scenario analysis and variance insights versus budget and forecast
• Collaborate with finance, business units, and plants to implement PPV and CRP action plans
• Participate in annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, price change reviews, and annual savings tracking

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or finance
• More than 5 years of experience for MNC purchasing controller and the function leader of Automobile components suppliers (Tier 1)
• Knowledge with various accounting standards such as IFRS, JP GAAP etc.
• Understanding of Hyperion, SAP, Excel, PowerPoint
• Proficient in Japanese and English
