経理担当/ Accountant

An international manufacturing company is searching for an Accountant. The chosen candidate will be in charge of managing daily accounting operations, financial management, and reporting activities to ensure compliance. This is a hybrid and haken role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations across all functions
• Apply group accounting policies
• Ensure local financial statements are compliant with local GAAP and procedures
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Execute fixed asset transfers, disposals, changes, and sales in accordance with process flow and Accounting Policy requirements, clearly identifying any local and US GAAP differences
• Prepare statutory accounts to meet Japanese tax requirements and support audit activities, bridging internal and external reporting differences
• Prepare supplemental reports as requested
• Ensure timely payments for internal and external parties, with controls on receivables and compliance with group policies
• Review bank accounts on a daily basis
• Manage cash flow
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and act as the first point of contact for Off Highway, ensuring all inquiries are addressed efficiently
• Use Yayoi Accounting (Kaikei) as the accounting system

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of work experience (manufacturing or wholesale types of industry is preferred)
• Expertise in Japan and International Financial Accounting
• Skilled in MS Office
• Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a multinational team
• Proficient in Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)

Preferred Requirements:

• US/International Accounting Reporting Experience
