会計グループリーダー/ Accounting Group Leader

A multinational pharmaceutical and healthcare company is looking for an Accounting Group Leader. The selected candidate will oversee financial accounting for domestic group entities while leading junior staff and supporting key finance projects. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounting operations for domestic group companies, including expense approvals and monthly and quarterly closing
• Prepare materials and provide explanations to boards of directors
• Respond to audits and coordinate related activities
• Manage finance and accounting department projects
• Oversee preparation of individual financial statements for domestic entities
• Guide and train junior accounting staff

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of financial accounting experience at a business company
• Experience compiling non-consolidated financial statements at a listed company or its subsidiary
• Possess a valid Bookkeeping Level 2+ qualification
• Professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience preparing tax returns
• Interest in management and expanding accounting scope
• Proficient in English
