上級会計士/ Senior Accountant

A multinational sustainable power solutions company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting operations, reporting, budgeting, and internal control development for the Japan entity.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Lead Accountant for the Japan entity and oversee monthly closing and consolidation reporting
• Coordinate with external accounting firms and transition accounting operations in-house while building a finance team
• Lead and train junior staff handling daily bookkeeping and accounting operations
• Support accounting system implementation and ongoing system maintenance
• Coordinate audits and support transition from J-GAAP to IFRS
• Prepare IFRS reporting packages for parent company consolidation
• Collaborate with overseas audit teams to design and implement internal audit and internal control frameworks
• Prepare annual budgets and manage rolling forecasts
• Manage cash flow and conduct financial analysis to support management decisions
• Work closely with internal and cross-functional stakeholders
• Handle additional finance-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in financial accounting, FP&A, treasury, or related roles
• Experience managing small to mid-sized teams
• Strong accounting and audit knowledge
• Fluent level Japanese and Chinese; professional level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with IFRS and/or accounting system implementation
• Possess a valid Japanese Bookkeeping Level 1, CPA, or equivalent qualification
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
