上級会計士/ Senior Accountant

A global technology company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will lead core accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements while supporting audits, consolidation, and business growth initiatives. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Improve accounting processes and support system updates and implementations
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the company and domestic and overseas subsidiaries
• Assess accounting and tax treatment for new services and new projects
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Coordinate and respond to quarterly and annual external audits
• Participate in company-wide projects as a key project member

Requirements:

• Practical experience in financial results management, including standalone and consolidated accounting
• Experience in general accounting and approval covering daily transactions and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
• Ability to translate complex requirements into practical and feasible business processes
• Professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience preparing statutory and disclosure documents under the Companies Act or related regulations
• Experience in accounting within an IT company
• Experience in accounting within a venture or start-up environment
• Experience handling accounting for foreign companies or overseas subsidiaries, including the United States
• Business level English
