会計マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A global biopharmaceutical company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will lead general and cost accounting, support SAP/Concur implementation, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Record, analyse, and report accounting transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
• Book invoices, validate payments, and reconcile bank accounts
• Prepare VAT returns, manage accounts receivable/payable, and maintain financial reports
• Oversee inventory, stock reconciliation, COGS, reserves, deferred income, prepaid expenses, and asset management
• Post IFRS 16 lease liabilities, loan interest, and personal costs
• Prepare management sales reports and maintain supplier master data

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in general accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, VAT, and tax
• Experience with SAP/Concur implementation in corporate environments
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and multi-currency transactions
• Knowledge of auditing practices and accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Native level Japanese; business level English
