上級会計マネージャー/ Senior Accounting Manager

An international luxury fashion brand is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will lead the Record to Report function, drive accounting excellence, ensure compliance, and manage regional teams across Japan and Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Record to Report (RTR) team across Japan and the Asia Pacific
• Deliver end-to-end RTR services in compliance with group policies, IFRS, local GAAP, and tax requirements
• Review and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting transactions and financial reports
• Manage regulatory, tax, and customs reporting and audits in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee RTR transformation initiatives, fixed asset accounting, general ledger activities, and cash flow forecasting
• Manage stakeholder relationships and drive effective change management to ensure consistent service delivery
• Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain and enhance finance policies, procedures, process maps, and internal control documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or a related field
• More than 10 years of experience in accounting and shared services within a multinational Record to Report environment
• Proven experience managing RTR teams, including hiring, training, and performance management
• Strong technical expertise in applying IFRS, preferably within a retail or consumer-facing environment
• Proficient in SAP ERP and finance consolidation tools such as Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC)
• Strong knowledge of Japan GAAP and local statutory compliance requirements
• Possess a valid professional accountant qualification (in Japan) or equivalent
• Native level Japanese; business level English
