財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global wellness and lifestyle organisation is seeking a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting, finance, and treasury operations for Japanese subsidiaries, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and process optimisation. This is a hybrid setup ro0le.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall accounting, finance, and treasury operations for Japanese subsidiaries
• Establish internal accounting control policies and systematise finance processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for each entity
• Manage cash planning and intercompany transactions for subsidiaries
• Report monthly and quarterly results of Japanese subsidiaries to headquarters
• Handle external audit processes in Japan
• Review and submit tax-related documents

Requirements:

• Few years of overall finance/accounting experience
• More than 2 years of experience in Japan (accounting/tax)
• Experience managing finance, accounting, and tax operations in a Japanese company
• Skilled in financial reporting, audit coordination, and cash management
• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Expertise in Japanese GAAP and tax regulations
• Experience in financial forecasting and business segment P&L analysis
• Possess valid CPA or relevant accounting certifications
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing overseas subsidiaries
• Experience implementing/operating ERP systems
• Understanding of startup and IT platform service industries
• Proficient in Korean
