財務・会計マネージャー/ Finance & Accounting Manager

A foreign veterinary product company is searching for a Finance & Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee all financial and management accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Cover all financial and management accounting operations in Japan, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including consolidated reports for Japan and overseas entities
• Manage monthly closing and reporting processes
• Handle statutory reporting, tax filings, and audit coordination
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Oversee revenue analysis, cost control, and profitability improvement initiatives
• Manage cash flow and drive cost optimisation
• Support internal projects and cross-functional collaboration
• Lead and mentor the finance team to enhance capabilities and efficiency
• Manage accounting operations using Xero as the global accounting platform
• Develop and maintain internal controls and SOPs

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance
• Prior inventory management experience
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, Pivot, queries)
• Knowledge of JGAAP and international accounting standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
