シニア経理担当/ Senior Accountant

An international natural resources company is looking for a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and support both local and international accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage IFRS month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations
• Prepare statutory financial statements in line with local GAAP
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Assist with tax reporting, transfer pricing files, and regulatory submissions
• Review and process employee expenses ensuring compliance with standards
• Perform monthly intercompany and bank reconciliations
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and issue resolution
• Contribute to budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and financial systems implementation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in the commodities industry
• Knowledge of Japanese accounting standards and regulations
• Proficient in SAP FICO preferred
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Possess a valid Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA or CPA)
• Native level Japanese; advanced level written and verbal English
