会計マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A renowned life science company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while collaborating with global finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records including AP/AR, intercompany balances, and general ledger in IFRS and local GAAP
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end financial close ensuring statement accuracy
• Collaborate with finance shared service team to standardise reporting and practices
• Lead tax provision preparation and ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Coordinate internal and external audits providing documentation and reconciliations
• Implement and monitor internal controls and investigate financial variances

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance, or a related field
• More than 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards, including IFRS and J-GAAP
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Familiarity with SAP (must) or other ERP systems
• Professional level Japanese and English

Nice to have:

• Possess valid CPA certification
