上級会計士/ Senior Accountant

A renowned food manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Accountant. The selected candidate will manage daily accounting operations, month-end activities, and financial reporting. This is a long-term haken role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping and process invoices, receipts, and payments
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepare weekly and quarterly cash forecasts
• Handle T&E transaction bookings
• Oversee inventory valuation and costing, including COGS calculation
• Monitor FX exposure and record hedge entries
• Execute month-end close tasks such as journal postings, uploads, and balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting area
• Experience in finance or accounting at multinational company
• Prior reporting experience to US or other head office
• Proven internal audit experience
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and US TAX
• Proven financial and accounting knowledge
• Prior IT knowledge
• Understanding of JGAAP and Japan taxation
• Excellent project management skills
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting
• Prior tax audit and financial audit experience
• Proven strategic planning, FPA, and budgeting experience
• Previous SAP or similar ERP system implementation experience or system development experience
• Knowledge of SAP, Plaza, Microsoft Dynamics Navision
