会計マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A global personal care product manufacturer is seeking an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial close, reporting, compliance, and team development. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end accounting close and reporting
• Review trial balances and analyse accounts to resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and validate balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide accounting guidance to business partners and ensure internal controls
• Oversee tax filings including GST, VAT, WHT, and annual income tax returns
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while driving process improvements

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in accounting
• Experience in accounting software
• Prior international experience is a plus
• Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting standards, and regulatory changes
• Understanding of US GAAP and SOX control
• Familiarity with SAP and Hyperion is ideal
• Professional level Japanese and English
