財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

An international chemical company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee all finance functions, including accounting, taxation, cash management, credit, and financial reporting for the Japan legal entity.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage fund transfers and cash repatriation
• Maintain bank signatory records and perform bank reconciliations
• Post SAP entries and perform period-end account reconciliations for expense accruals, prepaid expenses, inventory provisions, corporate tax, fixed assets, payroll, and general accounting transactions
• Prepare Corporate Income Tax and Consumption Tax filings and liaise with external tax advisors
• Review and update transfer pricing to ensure appropriate business profitability
• Set customer credit limits and payment terms in collaboration with the Asia Credit Manager and perform sales order credit releases in SAP
• Supervise the daily work of part-time or third-party accountants
• Conduct fixed asset cycle counts and physical stock takes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting
• Prior experience in the trading business (import)
• Proficient in SAP and strong computer skills
• Professional level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• SAP experience
• Possess a valid US CPA qualification (completed or in progress)
