会計士/ Accountant

A global healthcare company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will support accounting operations, month-end close, audits, and process improvements for a new joint venture.

Responsibilities:

• Support a wide range of accounting operations for the Japanese legal entity
• Post month-end entries, including payroll, cash, intercompany, and clearing
• Record AP/AR invoices for non-standard processes
• Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations and reports for month-end closing
• Provide data and support for statutory, US GAAP, and tax audits
• Participate in special projects such as business integrations and system implementations
• Identify and drive process optimisation to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global accounting colleagues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• More than 7 years of accounting and monthly closing experience
• Experience with start-ups, divestitures, or joint ventures is ideal
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP)
• Possess a valid CPA, CMA, or MBA in Accounting/Finance preferred
• Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
• Fluent level Japanese and English
