ファイナンスディレクター/ Director of Finance

A global luxury hospitality company is looking for a Director of Finance. The selected candidate will lead financial strategy and operations for the hotel’s pre-opening and post-opening phases, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and alignment with global standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute financial strategies for pre-opening and post-opening phases
• Represent Finance on the hotel’s Executive Committee and collaborate with department heads
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, brand policies, and regulatory standards
• Manage internal controls, audits, and risk mitigation systems
• Support strategic planning through scenario analysis, ESG reporting, and investment planning
• Lead digital transformation initiatives, including automation and cloud-based systems
• Administer contracts, licenses, insurance, and legal documentation
• Monitor financial KPIs and provide insights to guide operational and strategic decisions
• Oversee recruitment, training, and development of Finance and IS teams
• Promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• More than 2 years’ experience as Director or Assistant Director of Finance in a lifestyle or luxury hotel
• Experience in financial management, accounting, and procurement
• Concrete skills in leadership, analytical thinking, and strategic planning
• Ability to communicate with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and external auditors

• Proficient in Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in pre-opening operations
