会計士/ Accountant

A multinational animal health company is looking for an Accountant. The selected candidate will prepare accurate financial reports, support budgeting and forecasting, ensure compliance, and collaborate closely with global finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports aligned with global reporting standards
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to support business objectives
• Coordinate with global finance teams to ensure consistency in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and financial explanations
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial standards, and internal policies
• Coordinate external and internal audits and address recommendations
• Monitor cash flow, optimise working capital, and manage AP/AR transactions and reconciliations
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls and improve financial processes
• Provide financial insights to local management to support decision-making
• Participate in meetings with global finance teams to align on financial performance and reporting
• Handle financial data securely and support additional finance-related duties as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting or related field
• Proven experience in financial management within a multinational organisation
• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance
• Skilled in financial software and ERP systems (advanced Excel)
• Familiarity with Japanese financial regulations and reporting standards
• Professional level Japanese and English
