日本税務統括マネージャー/ Japan Tax Country Manager

A global internet technology company is looking for a Japan Tax Country Manager. The selected candidate will lead local tax compliance and governance while partnering with global teams on strategic tax matters. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage tax obligations and drive practical tax solutions
• Oversee preparation, review, and filing of corporate, consumption, withholding, and other business taxes
• Enhance tax control frameworks and manage audits from the National Tax Agency
• Advise global teams on local tax matters and provide technical tax insights
• Contribute to local tax initiatives, including incentives and business launches
• Monitor changes in tax laws and propose appropriate operational responses

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in Japanese tax in industry or multinational accounting firm
• 3-5 years of professional experience
• Experience in the TMT industry and relevant tax issues us a plus
• Knowledge of accounting principles is preferred
• Possess valid professional Japanese or tax qualifications is ideal
• Proficient in reading Chinese and English
