財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global electric systems manufacturer is seeking a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls while leading a small local finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for both local and group consolidation
• Ensure compliance with Japanese GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations
• Manage tax filings, audits, and coordination with external advisors and authorities
• Monitor trading transactions and ensure adherence to internal policies
• Maintain robust internal controls and support audit activities
• Supervise accounting operations including AP/AR, general ledger, and cash flow management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, or a relevant domain
• 6-8 years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, and transaction control within Japan
• Experience with operational finance and accounting processes
• Prior experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)
• Knowledge of Japanese GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficient in written and verbal Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess valid CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification
