会計担当者/ Accounting Officer

A multinational logistics company is looking for an Accounting Officer. The selected candidate will oversee daily accounting operations, including AR/AP, general ledger, reporting, and tax, ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial processes. This is a hybrid setup and temp-to-perm contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage AR/AP operations, including funding forecasts, cash positions, and ageing reports
• Oversee credit limit control and ensure adherence to company policies
• Handle journal entries, payment processing, and monthly closing activities
• Review and verify payment vouchers and prepare internal and external financial reports
• Conduct tax filings, audits, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations under the Finance Manager’s direction
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance, timeliness, and process accuracy across all accounting functions

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting or finance
• Prior experience in accounting operations within the logistics industry is ideal
• Experience with SAP is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Possess a valid Japanese accounting qualification (Boki Level 2+)
• Professional level Japanese; business level English
