会計上級スペシャリスト/ Senior Accounting Specialist

An international medical technology company is seeking an Accounting Senior Specialist. The selected candidate will oversee Accounts Payable and Treasury operations while driving process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Oversee invoice handling, employee expense claims, and AP journal entries
• Lead and improve procurement-to-pay processes and ensure proper invoice payments
• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger postings
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve AP and payment-related issues
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in compliance with US GAAP
• Manage cash deposits, banking documentation, and related journal entries
• Oversee cash flow activities, banking administration, and fund transfers
• Partner with FP&A on OpEx management and cash flow forecasting
• Collaborate with HQ and regional finance teams on accounting and SOX-related matters
• Support internal and external audits, including tax, SOX, and financial reviews
• Take ownership of SOX process controls related to AP, Treasury, and Procurement
• Drive process improvement and efficiency projects across finance operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of experience in accounting
• Proven experience in US GAAP accounting and SOX audit management
• Project management experience in process improvement initiatives
• Experience in foreign-affiliated companies using English daily
• Strong knowledge of financial control and accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems
• Possess a valid Certified Bookkeeping Level 2+ (Nissho); USCPA/JICPA preferred
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
